"Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit." - Napoleon Hill
I'm sure you've heard the stories of people who have started a network marketing business and got up at some Super-Human hour to start selling their products or promoting their opportunity, all before they go to work at their regular job.
Then as soon as they get home it's a quick bite to eat and they're back at it again, having meetings, phoning people, delivering orders, or simply promoting their business online... all until they're too tired to do anything but fall straight back into bed again!
I'm going to bust this myth right now: Of course it's true that you have to commit yourself to your business in order to start reaping the rewards, but you certainly don't need to give up all your spare hours to do it.
Regular effort is good, but don't go overboard!
If you look at the people who start off in network marketing by giving up all their spare time, neglecting their friends, and devoting every possible resource to their business, you'll see that they can rarely keep it up for longer than a couple of months before burning themselves out. That's no way to live, and that's no way to achieve the kind of success you want.
You'll get much better results by devoting a smaller amount of time to your business on a regular basis, on your own terms. It might take you longer in the short-term, but I guarantee you'll enjoy the journey a whole lot more.
You need to run your business, not let it run you.
It's a great idea to come up with a plan to fit the business into your life without it taking over entirely. Set some rules about times your business will never touch. Perhaps Sunday will always be out of bounds, or maybe Movie Night with your kids, or Date Night with your spouse. Perhaps all three.
Don't believe the myth that you have to put in more hours than a Superhero to get anywhere in Network Marketing.
After all, network marketing is about improving your life, and adding to it with personal development and a second income. It's not about flogging yourself to death in the process!

Becoming an Expert for Your Customers/Prospects with Article Marketing
If you were considering spending your hard-earned money on something, would you prefer to make that purchase from someone who you considered to be an expert, or from someone who you weren't sure knew anything about what you were buying?
Keith Walden

www.unlimited-profits.biz
You'd buy from the expert wouldn't you? Most people would agree with you – that it's better to buy from an expert. That's why in your MLM business, it's extremely important to be an expert in the eyes of your customers and the people who may eventually become a part of your downline.
Article marketing is one way to effectively build your reputation as an expert. It's easy to do and completely free, and it has a huge impact! A well-written article that is packed with good, solid information is the kind of article that will find its way in front of potentially thousands and thousands of eyeballs!
All these eyeballs could belong to potential customers or distributors for your opportunity!
Let's start at the beginning. How can article marketing make you an expert? It's very simple, actually. If you publish a good article online – one that informs, helps and even entertains, people will read it and associate you with the topic of the article. If you publish more articles on the same topic or related topics and people find those articles to be helpful and interesting, people will begin to think of you as an expert on the topic.
They can bounce between your articles and start to build a great respect for you and your knowledge.
Being an expert is an advantage, as we've already discussed. Think about it. If you have a toothache, you are going to consult with your dentist about it because he or she is perceived to be an expert on how to handle toothaches. You're not going to ask your car mechanic about your toothache.
In MLM, the concept is the same. You have your business opportunity and your products. You are an expert on those things. One way to prove that to the public and to gain the confidence of customers is through publishing many, many articles that constantly reinforce your image as an expert.
I bet someone who is reading this is thinking, “Oh, but I can't write articles!” It's true that some people don't feel they have the skill (they are skilled at other things) to write an article. And some people haven't got the time or inclination to do it. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't use article marketing as a way to build your reputation as an expert. What this means is that you should get help with writing articles.
You own your own business. You know your products inside and out. You believe in your products. You're an expert! Just because you can't or prefer not to write your own articles doesn't take that away from you!
Consider hiring a skilled ghostwriter who will write the articles for you. You receive all rights to the article when you pay your ghostwriter, and then you will publish the articles in your name! There is nothing wrong with doing this, and in fact it shows that you know how to capitalize on your own talents and let someone else capitalize on theirs! It's working smart!

SEVEN REASONS I JOINED TraVerus & YOU SHOULD, TOO:
Here are my 7 reasons for joining TraVerus Travel Network.
Please read over them carefully and then call me at: 1-888-580-6240 or visit me at http://www.globaltravelbiz.net and let me know when its convenient to call you!
1. THE FUN OF TRAVEL:
I like travel and vacations, and could picture myself enjoying the product. Over $15,000 worth of vacations and cruises is a great deal when you're paying so little for it. I figured if I didn't end up selling TraVerus, it would still be worth what I paid for the vacations. How could I lose?
2. LOW START-UP COST:
I was impressed by the LOW amount of cash necessary to get involved in TraVerus. Most businesses cost many thousands of dollars to start and you have to take over equipment leases, be saddled with Yellow Page advertising, weekly payrolls, inventory and accounting. The business ends up running you instead of you running it, yet it never would produce the kind of money TraVerus does, and I would have to work three times as hard.
3. FLEXIBLE HOURS:
I realized I didn't want to be tied down to a 9 to 5 job, or put in all the overtime hours required to make a small business succeed. I want to have money and the time to enjoy it. I set my own hours with TraVerus, and make sure it never interferes with my social life.
4. HIGH INCOME:
There is no company in the home based industry with a more lucrative compensation plan than TraVerus! Absolutely NONE!! Don't take my word for it, take a look and see for yourself!
5. LOW STRESS = HAPPIER LIFE:
I was attracted to TraVerus because I wanted a very low pressure business. No time clock to punch, no manager to answer to, no employee problems to deal with or inter - office squabbles to settle. Now I work when it fits MY schedule. I have time to spend with my friends and family. My friends tell me I smile a lot more than I did this time last year.
6. GOOD SUPPORT & TRAINING:
I liked the fact that while TraVerus is an independent association and you don't have to answer to anyone but yourself, there is also a good training and support system in place to ensure success. We continue to share techniques and leads. I was introduced to other successful TraVerus people in order to raise my confidence level in the early weeks.
With my Sponsor's help - the same kind of help I'll be giving you - I was able to get the system down in a matter of days.
7. WORK FROM HOME OR ANYWHERE:
I wanted an opportunity that wouldn't make me a prisoner to an office. I can work from home, or travel and work on the road. All I need is a phone, a laptop computer, and I'm completely mobile. I wanted the flexibility to travel whenever I feel like it. Even cruise ships have Internet access these days, so I can combine TraVerus with my vacations.

Five Steps That Guarantee Article Network Marketing Success
If you have never familiarized yourself with the concept of article network marketing, the odds are good that you are missing out on an amazingly effective network marketing tool!
The concept itself is surprisingly simple: much like product placement in movies, article network marketing relies on a general content article containing references to and facts about the product you are selling and the business you are in. Of course, with anything that is deceptively simple there is also a large margin of error.
For those who are intrigued by this completely legal way of reaching a whole new target audience, here are five steps that guarantee article network marketing success.
1. The content must be well written. Most network marketers will outsource this aspect of the business and if you do so, you will be wise to request some samples of the work first. This will enable you to understand the effect an article written by that individual or company will have on you, and by extension most likely will have on other readers. Look for typos and be on alert for grammatical errors or punctuation mistakes.
2. The content of the article needs to relate to your business or product in some way. If you are selling a wellness product you will be hard-pressed to have it included in a movie review (although a highly skilled writer is able to pull off this feat) but it will shine in a general content article that discusses health, wellness, and related issues.
3. If you are using article network marketing to showcase your product, think of the attributes that best describe it. Is it a drink or a solid supplement? What is its color? How does it taste? Should it be consumed cold or hot? Could it be incorporated into a recipe or dish? What are the effects of the product and how long does it usually take until someone will realize them?
All of these questions could and should be answered within the article to give the reader a solid understanding and also feel for the product without necessitating them to buy it first.
4. Do not let the article be little more than a bit of writing designed to hype the product. This will not hold any appeal to the average reader. The trick to successful article network marketing is the skillful incorporation of the product into a well written article that is of general interest.
5. Utilize the article by posting it on sites inviting submissions, posting it in forums, and also sending it out as part of an email newsletter. Be very cautious so that you are not actually spamming a site or misuse your email address leads, but at the same time capitalize on the finished article in each and every way you can think of.
The more articles you craft in this vein, the more impact you will have. Of vital importance, in that case, is that each and every article offers a new insight and is markedly different from its predecessors!

How To Write A Keyword Article
There is a lot of talk these days about using keyword articles to attract visitors to a website and with the growing use of article marketing, there seems to be some benefit to using this method in a company's marketing plan. There is also some confusion about the use of keywords as well as what they are and what they mean to a website owner.
First of all, keywords are those entered into a search engine by an internet user who is looking for specific information. They may not know exactly what they are looking for but, they know what they want. For example, if a person is looking for home improvement tips about replacing ceramic floor tile, they have the option of entering many different search terms, which really is what keywords are all about.
They may enter the term 'replace ceramic floor' or simply enter 'ceramic floor' and start looking at the search results pages for the information they can use. Terms such as 'replacement floors' or 'replacement ceramics' may also be used and business owners will have no idea what terms the user will look for and when beginning their search most users rarely find what they want on the first few tries. Unless, there is an article somewhere that uses that exact phrase.
Typically, an article will contain a specific search term between four and 12 times, depending on the length of the article and the search time needs to be placed in the article so that the writing remains grammatically correct and the phrase is a natural order as though it belongs there and not used simply to use it. Unfortunately, some websites will use what is termed keyword stuffing, which uses the phrase 30 or 40 times in a four or 500 word article, which is a turn off for the search engines and really offers nothing useful to the web searcher.
Articles need to offer some value to the person conducting the search. If the company that sells replacement ceramic tile can produce a series of articles on the best way to remove the old tile, remove the old glue or cement from the surface, how to prepare the surface for new tile and other areas about the subject, they will provide valuable information that can draw visitors to their site where they may actually buy the tile.
These articles can be published on their own website on pages dedicated to helping potential customers learn how to replace the tile. They can also be published on homeowner remodeling sites as tips for others. One thing that articles cannot do is advise the readers to visit a specific site or a specific business. This is unacceptable to search engines as well as to other web ezine publishers.
All published articles can have an author's biography giving the author credit for the article as well as outline their competence in the subject matter. The block on these articles could talk about their experience level in ceramic tile replacement and the years they have been involved in the business as well as mention they operate a business at the website location, including a hot link.

How To Win At Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is the process of promoting the goods or services of another person in exchange for getting a commission every time that one of those goods or services is sold.
Affiliate marketing in this way can be a very easy way for a person to get something done and when it comes right down to it the low cost and easy time commitments that affiliate marketing brings to the table are exactly what people need when they are starting up a business.
However, this does not mean that everyone that tries affiliate marketing is going to be successful at it, so even though it is one of the easiest ways to start a business online, you still need to know how to win at affiliate marketing.
Location In real estate, location is the biggest thing. In affiliate marketing, location is also the biggest thing albeit in a different way. The location we are looking for in affiliate marketing is not the location of geography or region that real estate developers are interested in, but rather the location affiliate markets are looking for is the proper market to sell their products.
Markets are targeted to different things and interested in different things and figuring out which markets are likely to like the products you are marketing is part of becoming a great affiliate marketer.
You can make things a lot easier on yourself by ensuring that the affiliate marketing that you do is only directed at markets and people that are actually interested in those particular products.
Leverage There is a very sad story in some affiliate marketing circles and it is the story of the person that did not understand leverage. This person came up with a fantastic marketing plan for affiliate marketing and tried it on one product. That plan worked great, but because the profits that it brought in were not enough to sustain a full time income, the person gave up and heartbreakingly went back to their old job.
What is the lesson here? The lesson is that people need to consider leverage when they consider how to win at affiliate marketing. Figuring out a strategy that works is hard, but once you have that strategy your next goal becomes to leverage the strategy by applying it to as many different products as possible.
If you can make $100 a week selling a certain product, why not start building up your infrastructure so that you end up making $10,000 a week eventually by selling 100 products that each make $100 a week?
Critical Thinking Location and leverage are two examples of things that came about as a result of critical thinking. Someone was faced with a problem (too few people interested in the general public or too little profit from selling one product) and came up with a solution by thinking on their feet.
Everything that you do in affiliate marketing will require this type of critical thinking and it would be impossible to go through the hundreds of different ways that this is already true of the field. Just remember to always re-evaluate the situation you are in and try to think critically about ways that you can make it better.

An Exclusive Interview with Internet Marketing "Guru" Sam Robbins
For over a decade, Sam Robbins has been one of the top marketersboth on AND off the Internet. He has many successful businesses
and websites, has consulted small home-based businesses as well
as Fortune 500 companies ... and most importantly he's the first
to admit he's made a million mistakes along the way.
Anyway, this little introduction is not about Sam Robbins ...
but rather what Sam can do FOR YOU. I had the rare opportunity
to interview Sam recently ... and he has allowed me to make the
entire transcript available to our associates, FREE of charge.
Not only is this interview extremely valuable and informative
(Sam reveals the biggest keys to his success), but it's VERY
RARE! This is the first interview that Sam has done in over
two years, so pay close attention and listen to his wisdom!
Q. Sam, I know you've been involved in the launching of many very
profitable websites so let me ask you ... how do you know if a
site is going to be profitable? What "precautions" do you take to
increase the odds of success?
A. Well, there a million things that one needs to keep in mind
before starting a new project. But let's just keep it simple.
The main thing I keep in mind is to find or create a product
or service where a MARKET and a DEMAND for it already exists.
This reduces your risk tremendously ... and there is less
effort and money spent.
For example, we recently launched an awesome marketing tool at
www.AdMinder.com. It's VERY successful
mainly because it's something that ANY and ALL businesses need.
If your goal is to make even $1, AdMinder will help you do it.
We don't have to go looking for customers ... they come to US
because they need AND want to use it to make more money online.
Q. Right, excellent point. Now, once you've setup a new site
what's the very next thing you do?
A. Once we've designed a new site, integrated the order
processing system, etc. and everything is working properly, we
prepare to start advertising (the marketing campaign).
No matter how we promote (free or paid sources), the MOST
IMPORTANT factor is we make sure we have our tracking systems
in place so we know what's going on once the promotions begin
and the traffic hits.
We are spending valuable time and money on this and we aren't
going to do any guess work. We want SCIENTIFIC numbers telling
us what's going on, what's happened and what we need to do to
increase sales and profits.
Q. Ok right, you mean you setup some type of log analysis system?
A. That's what most people do, but no, that's not what I mean
at all. From a marketing standpoint, log file analysis is only
half the battle. Analyzing your server logs will tell you how
visitors are navigating your website, and what they do when
they arrive, but it won't give you the rest of the information
you need.
And generally speaking, for most people, it's very difficult
to really make good sense out of your log files. I know for
us, as our sites grow, the log files get more confusing and
less accurate.
Like I said, you logs only give you a small fraction of the
real information. For example, which of your ads and
promotions are generating the most traffic, and even more
importantly, the most sales (what's making you money - plain
and simple).
These are just a few that come to mind, but without this
information you're really just flying blind and wasting your
time and money.
Q. That's a good point and I'm glad you brought that up. So tell
us, exactly what kind of stats and other information do you
track?
A. In order to maximize the return on our investments (ROI) in
advertising, we carefully monitor a whole bunch of things.
Such as:
* Unique visitors generated by each ad or promotion
* Number of sales generated by each ad or promotion
* Which ads are generating the most traffic and sales
* Cost-per-click, cost-per-sale, and clicks-to-sales
ratios for each ad or promotion
* Return on investment, or ROI, for each ad or promotion
Those are the most important bits of information that we
monitor on a minute-by-minute basis. Aside from ROI, my
favorite stat is the clicks-to-sales ratio because it gives a
great indication of the "quality" of traffic that is being
generated by each ad or promotion.
For example, just last week I ran the same ad in 2 different
but supposedly "targeted" e-zines. One of the ads is resulting
in an average of 1 sale per every 36 visitors, and the other
ad is only generating 1 sale out of every 152 visitors. You
tell me, which of these e-zines would you prefer to advertise
in? =)
Q. Yeah, that would make a big difference especially when you are
dealing with numerous ads.
A. Right. EXACTLY! See, if you are only doing one or two ads,
you can track everything manually. It's not that big of a
deal. It's not that stressful. But as your ads grow and your
"repeats" ads, you're going to go crazy trying to track
everything. Before you know it, it becomes too much of a
hassle and you stop.
Q. Hehe ... good point. We hear that all the time. And you know,
it's very true. If things are complicated or too difficult to do,
people just won't do it.
A. Simplicity, that's the key! We are all too busy these days
to be doing "monkey work".
Q. What about general promotions and non-paying advertisements.
How do you deal with those? Do you even track them?
A. Yes! Most definitely. Heck, we make just as much money off
of our "free" promotion tactics as we do with our paid (maybe
more). It's not just about saving money, it's about saving
time as well.
That's why we track ever and any type of promotion.
For example, let's say you have a newsletter or e-zine and in it,
you have links for various affiliate programs or articles at
your own site that sell something indirectly. You can track to
see which TYPE of article or promotion did the best.
If an article about e-zine advertising was 3 times more
effective at bringing traffic BACK to your site then an
article on banner advertising, you will know to spend the
majority of your time posting and distributing the e-zine
article.
Does this make sense?
Q. Yes it does. We tried to do this with some "viral marketing"
type of promotions in the past. But after a few weeks, we were
overwhelmed and didn't know what was working and what wasn't. We
knew that we had an increase in traffic and sales, but just
wasn't sure how.
A. Right. Well, live and learn. We all make these mistakes.
But the problem is that someone reading this article will
realize it, but WILL NOT DO ANYTHING about it.
That's not making a mistake. That's just being stupid. There
are specific ways and reasons why people make money ... and
others do not. Now that you know tracking is vital, DO IT!
Q. I guess "change" takes longer in some people than others. But
the sooner you welcome "change", the sooner you will free up time
and make more money.
A. Yup. Well said!
Q. Sam, the word on the Internet is you're the one who invented
the "Automatically Double Your Profits Every Month" tactic. It's
a fantastic business plan. Simple and proven. How did you come up
with it?
A. Oh yeah, that formula rocks! But I didn't come up with it.
I'm probably the first to present it to the Internet world,
but I learned something similar to it years ago when I did
consulting for infomercials. I added my own twist to it. But
no, I don't think I've ever invented anything. =)
Q. How does it work exactly?
A: Well, I've already presented the exact "formula" at our
site -- www.adminder.com. So, best for
your readers to just go there since I don't like to repeat
myself and bore those that already have read about my formula.
But I'll give you a simple explanation of it and a different
"twist" for those that already use the formula.
Frank Bettger, a phenomenal salesman of the 1930s, shared the
secret of his success in his classic "How I Raised Myself From
Failure To Success In Selling". After analyzing his first
year's sales, Bettger discovered that 70% were made on the
FIRST interview, 23% on the second interview and only 7% on
the third.
His greatest revelation was that he spent HALF of his time
going after that last 7 percent! When he realized this, he
began concentrating his efforts on those FIRST interviews and
nearly DOUBLED his income overnight!
Q: Wow... great story. That's a great way to explain your system
to other people. I guess the key to it all was that Mr. Bettger
kept records and "tracked" everything and then analyzed it.
A: Yes, precisely! Heck, with all of the great technology that
we have today, not many people track their promotion efforts.
Just imagine if Bettger didn't track anything. YEARS would go
by and he would continue to make the same mistakes ... wasting
valuable time and money.
Yet, by analyzing his work, in only a few minutes he realized
exactly what he needed to do to increase his sales, make more
money and save time.
Q: Yeah, it's pretty amazing. Once you have a good tracking
system setup, it only takes minutes to analyze the results and
know what's working, what isn't and WHY!
A: Right. Now, the hardest part is just doing it. Getting
started seems to be a problem for most. They think it will
take a lot of time and effort setting up a tracking system.
But if you know where and what to look for, it's simple, fast
and almost free.
Q: Okay, so let's say you are new to all this or you've been
wanting to setup some tracking system in the past, but got lazy
and procrastinated. What would you tell people? How or where
should they start?
A: Well, there are a million ways of doing something. Let me
go over a few of the options and you can decide what's best
for you.
You can buy special software that will do all the tracking for
you. The problem is that they are VERY expensive and very
difficult to use. Most people aren't "tech" smart and won't
know how to use all the features of a program.
Your next option is to purchase a script. This is good. But
the problem is that most are just glorified "hit" counters.
They don't track the important stuff ... the specifics that
you would need to know. I have found a couple that were pretty
good, but they were also very expensive and the installation
was crazy. Multiple scripts needed to be installed and your
server had to have some special settings and so forth. The
server had to be strong enough to also handle all the data
being processed. Again, most people just don't have the "tech"
knowledge or the time or the money to do it on their own.
Your last option is to use a web-based service. There are a
few. As with everything, a few are horrible, a few are okay
and a couple are good.
Because it costs you no setup time or hardware or programming
knowledge or special servers or any of that stuff, I'd
recommend for most to do a web-based service. At the very
least, give it a try for a few months and just see how it
goes. There are no contracts or anything like that. You get to
test things out, risk free.
Q: I totally agree that the web-based versions would be best
suited for 98% of the people reading this. Now, who do you
recommend?
A: I'm not going to recommend anything to anyone. I'm
biased and I'm not going give my opinion on any specific
company. But all I can say is that whatever was out there,
I did NOT like and am NOT using. That's why we designed our
own custom system and that's why some of the much larger
companies on the Net are now using our system.
It's precise, complete, proven and guaranteed. Let me ask you,
what do YOU like that's out there?
Q: Oh no ... don't put me on the spot. =) Okay, I'll be honest
with you. I really love www.AdMinder.com/ -
it works the best by far, it's the simplest to use, it's got the
most features for tracking, analyzing and managing all of your
promotions. And ... here's my favorite - it's the cheapest!
A: What else do you like about it?
Q: Okay, let's not forget who's giving the interview here
(laughing!) ... I'm the one in charge. =)) In all honesty, this
is why I did the interview to begin with ... I was very impressed
with all of your sites and how your run your businesses. I've got
a million other questions to ask you. But I think we'll save it
for another time.
A: Sure, sounds good and thank you for the kind words.
Q: Thank you very much for your time.
A: My pleasure. Bye.

Using Article Marketing To Target Search Engines And People
Online marketing has two new trends that involve marketing aimed at search engines and article marketing. Search engine marketing will help web sites get ranked higher with the search engine results pages and article marketing is targeted more to the customers the site owners want to reach. For those looking for higher rankings on the web site article marketing does offer hope, but the main key is to get the message out to all potential customers.
Customers type in a word or phrase they believe will lead them to their target when they are looking for something on the internet. That keyword or phrase will then be taken by the search engine to see if it matches anything in the index of previously visited web sites and according to the relevance of the search term, will rank the results on its results page. Rather than simple matching words or phrases on a web site to those typed in a search box, today’s search engines are looking for more.
The search engine will look at relevant information and considers updated textual information contained on the page when they index a site to determine page rankings. While original, informative articles rank high among search engine, they will also rank even higher among the human users who are going to be making the purchases.
Articles about multi level marketing will probably not get near the top of a search page for health issues unless there are articles on the site pertaining to health issues, for instance. In addition, site owners are allowed to write informational articles and submit them to article distribution services which makes them available to many other sites in addition to newsletters and ezine publishers.
These publications will pick up the articles for use in their publications if it offers significant information and first provides a link to the page listed in the articles signature box and second that link back is noticed by search engines as a vote of confidence that the site pertains to the keyword phrase used in the article.
A common trick that a few companies use to try to trick the search engines into believing that they have relevant information to offer is keyword spamming. Although article distribution services know this trick well and do not post these types of articles. Search engines are also increasing in their intelligence and they have learned to ignore these articles. Humans who may be able to stumble into a site with spammed keyword articles will also be upset and will not want to return to the site.
The concept of article marketing is still in its infancy since there remains many questions about the type of articles that site owners should publish and how they can be submitted to distribution services. Most recommendations call for at least two to three articles every week, for different pages on a web site, with the links in the signature block pointing to the relevant web page, but there is not specific number or frequency. If the site owner doesn’t want to write their own articles they can hire a ghost write to pen the articles for them and then submit them to the distribution services under their own name and signature block.
